As we continue to dismantle the late layers of fill, more figurines are being discovered. This time it’s the head of a female who might depict a goddess. It came from the general area of where the other figurines came from.
But these are not the only finds we are making; we continue to uncover remains from the 701 BCE destruction lying on house floors occupied at that time. This morning we’ll be photographing some of it and we hope to be able to display the results here.
